www.sturnidae.com - Sturnidae Family Links

If you have arrived on this page from a search engine then I suspect you followed a link having searched on Sturnidae or Starling. I am sorry but sturnidae is my domain name and my surname is not Starling. I am interested in genealogy but not in the name Starling. Neither is this a site about starlings or birds at all, though I am interested in bird watching and we do feed the starlings in our garden.

I see from my search reports that people search my site for "Mynah", "taxonomy", and other avian topics. If you are having trouble finding information I may still be able to help.   Send me an email on what you are looking for and I might have the information in my Birds of the Western Paleactric CD-Rom.   This will not answer questions on birds specific to areas other than the Western Paleartic, but it is full of good information on general (wild) bird topics.

The Sturnidae family covers Mynah, Grackle, Oxpecker, Thrasher, Mockingbird, Trembler and Catbird as well as Starling.   Otherwise, here are some links that might be of use to you in your quest.
