Setting up your camera
Disclaimer. I am not a good photographer, but I do know a bit about
photography. No one can teach you how to become a good photographer, you have to develop your
own style. There are some basics to learn when you get started, and I hope to help with that,
but as you develop there are no hard and fast rules. There are guidelines, but if you always
slavishly follow them, your photography may become competent, but it may never become exciting.
Just like music, indeed most enjoyable human experience, you need a mix of predictability and the
unexpected. As you gain experience you will come to know when to break the rules. You
need to discover what works for you.
We start with two topics:
- Understanding resolution
- Setting Quality and image size on your camera
