Isafjordur is a quiet little town down one of the many fjords in Iceland. One of the most unforgettable sights here, if you are lucky, is a plane taking off from the airstrip which runs alongside the mountain flanking the harbour. If the weather is good one of the best excursions is to Vigour Island where the birds have no fear of humans and good views can be obtained. | ||||
